I had a good Sunday
I had a good Sunday. I was talking through Skype with my Big Sister and my Kid Sister. I love both of them. They are my sisters, better than the real sisters I have.
I just love you, Gloria and Karen. It was nice talking to you. You made my Sunday today. :-)

Fooling around with Meez
I was just funning around in Meez.com. It did not end up quite like me. They did not have images old enough but this is the closest I could get at right now. I'll take some time to return to the site and try to create alternative looks.
Edit: And another one:

Need some help

My kid sister Karen once said she would agree to open my beer cans when my nails are drying. Jump on the plane, Karen, I am thirsty. ;.)

Friday nails again
Without any planning whatsoever, late Friday night or early Saturday morning seems to have become the time of the week to do my nails. I did it last Friday as well and I did it just now, a couple of hours in to Saturday.

Last few weeks I have been using Forever Strong by Maybelline (on left at the picture below) but today I applied Lycra Wear by Rimmel (right at the piccie). There is no visible difference as both are red shades. In fact, I have had the Rimmel's in my toes all the time without feeling that my finger nails do not match with the toes.

As for the colors, you may have guessed that red is my favorite. I do occasionally have a mood to experimenting colors such as black, yellow, green or blue. But 85 % of the time you would find me wearing red nail polish, always on the toes and on the fingers if I do not have to go out. Exceptions are known to have happened, however.
Stiff upper lip

The expression stiff upper lip is generally connected to the idea of keeping emotions under control. Applying lip color, on the other hand, is very much about expressing one's emotions. Having a stiff upper lip in the literal sentence seems to contribute to a better result.
Why is it so much easier to draw a steady line onto the upper lip than the one down? Maybe it is because the jaw has a life of its own. Anway, the color seems to run off the intended area much easier from the down lip.
I usually apply a layer of powder onto my lips before applying the color. I know that a lot of girls use a brush or a pen but I just take it direct from the lipstick. I then apply another layer of powder and another one of the lip color. When ever I need to add the color, I apply another layer of powder. This seems to help avoid the spilling but somehow the upper lift usually remains tidier.
So how could I make the down lip stay put? Stiff, as it were.
