Photography

I have never gotten used to seeing how I actually look as a girl. The mirror can only tell you so much. You tend to make faces in front of the mirror and there is usually a practical aspect involved: you want to apply foundation or lipstick or something like that.

This weekend I have been fooling around with my webcam. I uploaded some of those girlie pictures in flickr. I must admit that I am somewhat confused to see how I actually look. I'd like to think it is prettier than in male mode.

However, that is not the point. The point is that I keep asking myself if it is me looking back on my screen or somebody else. Something obviously changes in my appearence as soon as I change clothes and apply make up. But is it the same inside my head?

I guess I am going to have a chance to study that question tomorrow as I change back to male. I am going to make photos in similar situations and compare the sets. That could give some answers as to who is looking back.

Oh, those flickr photos are private but I have shared them with selected friends.
